Dr. Koby Reitz
Raised in Weesatche, Texas, Dr. Reitz attended Texas A&M University in College Station for both undergraduate and veterinary school. He graduated from vet school in 2008 and worked at a mixed animal practice in Luling, Texas, for 3 years. Following Luling, he practiced in Alvarado, Texas, for a year. After that, Dr. Reitz and his family moved to Cuero to open Cuero Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Reitz has a wife, Shannon, and 2 daughters, Reagan and Allison. He enjoys working with both large and small animals and the usual outdoor stuff in his free time.

Mindy Howe 
Receptionist

Mindy grew up in California. Most of her life has revolved around horses, animals and showing. She was very involved in FFA in High School and a 4-H leader after graduation. She started working in the veterinary field at age 14 and worked her way up to a Large Animal ICU and Neonatal Foal Tech at UC Davis Vet School. In 2010 she left the vet world and became a safety supervisor in the oilfield, and got to travel the United States with her husband and their daughter Ayden, until they landed in Cuero in 2014. When not in the office, her world revolves around her family, horses, and their show goats. She is excited to be back in the veterinary world!

Celeste Castillo
Receptionist

Celeste was born and raised in Cuero, TX where she recently graduated from Cuero High School with the class of 2021. Growing up she has always had a love for animals. She is new to the veterinary world, but is very excited to be a part of it. In her spare time, Celeste enjoys spending time with family and going out with her friends.

Caitlin Church
Receptionist
Caitlin was born and raised in Texas. She attended most of her school days in Yorktown, Texas, where she was involved with FFA, showing lambs. She grew up on a small farm and has always had a passion for animals. At age 20, she came into the veterinary field and knew this was for her. She plans on furthering her career in the veterinary field by getting her technician license. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, crafting, and walking her dog.

Haley Morris
Receptionist

Haley was born and raised near Cuero. Her whole life she has had a natural draw towards caring for animals of all kinds and being outdoors. She intends on furthering her education in Veterinary medicine as a large animal technician. She enjoys being outdoors hunting, fishing and traveling to Malaquite Beach for fishing and camping by the dunes or out traveling in God’s beautiful country. She loves spending quality time with my family, friends and her animals.

Kaitlin Pickett
Licensed Veterinary Technician

Kaitlin was born and raised in Cuero, Texas. She is a 2006 graduate of Cuero High School. After High School, she attended Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi and received a Bachelor of Science. Kaitlin worked as a small animal veterinary technician while in Corpus with a small animal clinic and a 24-hour pet emergency center. Her experience includes large animal, small animal, exotics, birds and pocket pets. In May of 2017 Kaitlin became a Licensed Veterinary Technician.

Lacey Wooley
Veterinary Technician

Lacey moved to Cuero in 2011 shortly after graduation. She became a team member at Cuero Veterinary Clinic in December 2012. Her son joined her and her fiance October 2016. Lacey enjoys outside activities with her family and making plenty of memories.

Kelby Henderson
Veterinary Technician

Kelby was raised in Nixon, Texas. She grew up on a ranch, and has had a love of animals. This passion for animals has been her drive to become a vet. Her goals are to further her education in veterinary medicine.

Taylor DeLeon
Veterinary Technician

Taylor grew up in the small Oklahoma town of Fairfax. Taylor moved to Texas in 2006 with her husband Manny. They now have 3 beautiful children. Taylor has always had a passion for animals.

Ricky Garibay
Mixed Animal Technician Certified Wildlife Biologist
Born and raised in Cuero, TX, Ricky has been with Cuero Veterinary Clinic since the start. After high school graduation, he followed his passion of becoming a Wildlife Biologist with an interest in wildlife medicine at Tarleton State University. Ricky graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from TSU. He plans to further his education by seeking a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. In his free time, Ricky seeks adventure by maintaining abundant and healthy wildlife and fish populations and habitats in Alaska.

Haylee Parr
Veterinary Technician

Haylee was born and raised in Cuero , Tx. She graduated from Cuero High School in 2021. Growing up she was very involved in showing animals and loved being around them. After high school, she was searching for her calling and figured helping animals was the next best thing to showing them. Though she loves animals, she also enjoys spending time with her family.

Kathryn Salo
Kennel Technician

Kathryn was born and raised in Cuero, Texas. She graduated from Cuero High School in 2013. Horses are her passion. She volunteers at the Riding Therapy Center of Victoria three times a week and spends her spare time with her horse, Pretty Girl.
