Dr. Koby Reitz

Raised in Weesatche, Texas, Dr. Reitz attended Texas A&M in College Station for both an undergraduate and vet school. He graduated from vet school in 2008 and worked at a mixed animal practice in Luling, Texas for 3 years. After practicing in Alvarado, TX for a year, Dr. Reitz and his family moved to Cuero to open Cuero Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Reitz has a wife, Shannon, and 2 daughters, Reagan and Allison. He enjoys working both large and small animals and the usual outdoor stuff in his free time.


Venglar

Dr. Venglar

Dr. Venglar was born and raised in Cuero, TX. She completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology at the University of Houston-Victoria and her DVM at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She enjoys saltwater fishing with her husband, Jonathan, and keeping up with their toddler at home. She also has a small collection of personal pets and foster projects. Dr. Venglar enjoys both small and large animal medicine and has a special love for Great Danes and horses.


Dr. Kimberlee Ward

Raised in Montgomery, Texas, Dr. Ward graduated with honors from Texas Tech University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine with honors from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2018 and completed her clinical rotations at Oklahoma State University. She was active in 4-H all throughout school raising sheep, Boer goats, and horses. Her family has a ranch in Plantersville, Texas raising Dorper sheep, Boer goats, chickens, cattle, and horses. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her dog and jumping with her horse, Dakota. She enjoys working with large and small animals and has a passion for sheep and goats.

Peggy Smith
Receptionist

Peggy graduated from El Campo High School and attended Wharton Junior College and Victoria College. She has been happily married to Bryan Smith for 27 years. She is the mother of three beautiful children, Kaci, Kolton, and Klayton.


Rae Ressman
Receptionist/Technician

Rae was born and raised in Cuero and graduated from Cuero High School. Shortly after graduation, she attended Victoria College where she became a Medical Assistant and took several classes towards a degree in Business. Her four children keep her very busy in her spare time.


Amy Janssen
Receptionist

Amy was raised in Runge, TX, where she attended and graduated from Runge High School. Growing up, she was heavily involved with FFA, 4H, and working on the family ranch. She attended the University of Houston where she obtained a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in General Business. In her spare time, Amy enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors and crafting.

Lacey Wooley
Veterinary Technician

Lacey was born and raised in Rosenberg, where she graduated from high school in 2011. She currently resides in Cuero and plans on attending college for veterinary technician training in the near future. Lacey likes to spend her free time with her 4 dogs and 8 cats.

Kaitlin Leck
Licensed Veterinary Technician

Kaitlin was born and raised in Cuero, Texas. She is a 2006 graduate of Cuero High School. After High School, she attended Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi and received a Bachelor of Science. Kaitlin worked as a small animal veterinary technician while in Corpus with a small animal clinic and a 24-hour pet emergency center. Her experience includes large animal, small animal, exotics, birds and pocket pets. In May of 2017 Kaitlin became a Licensed Veterinary Technician.

Kathryn Salo
Kennel Technician

Kathryn was born and raised in Cuero, Texas.  She graduated from Cuero High School in 2013.  Horses are her passion.  She volunteers at the Riding Therapy Center of Victoria three times a week and spends her spare time with her horse, Pretty Girl.

 


Alexis

Alexis Villa
Veterinary Technician

Alexis Villa is a graduate of Cuero High School and holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Agriculture from Texas A&M University at Kingsville. While at TAMUK, Alexis was on staff at the National Natural Toxins Research Center, University Farm-Swine Unit, and the United States Department of Agriculture-NRCS. She has experience in small animals, domesticated livestock, and reptiles. Alexis enjoys reading books and spending time with her family including her 2 dogs, Eva and Rex.
