An update from Cuero Veterinary Clinic on COVID-19
Due to Governor Abbott's recent declarations, we are implementing a few protocols to stay in line with his recommendations so we all can stay safe and do our part to control the spread of COVID-19 during the month of April.
As of this Friday, April 3rd, our doors for clients to access will be locked so we can limit traffic and flow inside the clinic to keep everyone safe. When you arrive please call the clinic to notify us you are here at 361-275-8575. From there, we will bring you directly in to an exam room, or we may decide to take your pet from your vehicle and take him/her inside for treatment while you wait in the vehicle.
Thank you for helping us do our part.
As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, the team at Cuero Veterinary Clinic is committed to providing safe service for you and your pet.
While we are remaining open, please help us keep our environment as clean as possible:
- Wash your hands before coming into our office
- Hand Sanitizer is provided up front for your use as supplies are available
- Reschedule if you are feeling ill, exhibiting any symptoms (cough, fever, shortness of breath) or may have been exposed to COVID-19
- Practice social distancing while visiting; per CDC guidelines we ask that you maintain a minimum of 6 feet from others and avoid any contact
- Visit our online pharmacy if your pet needs a refill or medication that does not require an exam, or other non-urgent items
If your pet or animal needs medical attention and you’re concerned about visiting our practice, please call us to discuss treatment options at 361-275-8575.
As always, medications and food can be ordered through our online pharmacy that can be found at the top right corner of our website: www.cuerovetclinic.com
Throughout this time, we are implementing protocols to uphold our responsibility in limiting possible exposure. Team members are conducting thorough cleanings multiple times a day and disinfecting exam rooms after each visit. Furthermore, the time between appointments has been extended to allow for proper cleaning. As a result, we have limited appointment times available each day.
If we experience 10 people or more in the reception area, team members may ask clients to wait in the exam rooms and/or outside until the space clears. Please try to observe the 6 ft. social distancing set by Governor Abbott.
We hope that you and your pet remain healthy through this time, and please know we are committed to their care.
We look forward to the day we can finally shake your hand in greeting and appreciation for your business the true Texan way. God Bless Texas!
